The Cultural Center in Łomianki is located in a former community center, established during the Polish People’s Republic at 12a Wiejska Street.
The main goal of the facility is to activate and initiate the inhabitants of Łomianki and the surrounding area by enabling them to contact the arts, music, film, theater and literature.
The employees of the Cultural Center arrange meetings with authors and artists, conduct classes and workshops, organize exhibitions of art and photography works, as well as courses and training. A wide range of activities (both paid and free) is addressed to all age groups and includes, among others learning traditional and contemporary dance and ballet, guitar, keyboard and percussion lessons, learning to play chess and checkers, singing and foreign language courses, basic electronics and robotics, as well as painting, carpentry, pottery and stained glass, martial arts and self-defense, 3D spatial printing or even designing computer games.
At the same time, theatrical performances are staged in the auditorium, as well as film screenings and concerts. On the local stage, among others, Zbigniew Wodecki or Mietek Szcześniak.
The facility also co-organized events of this rank as the “Warsaw Autumn Poetry” Festival or the International Festival of Juliusz Zarębski.
